Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, formerly known as the Department of Marxism - Lenin which was founded in July 1970. The Faculty has trained human resources in the fields of social sciences, humanities and political theory to meet the needs of socio-economic development nationwide, especially in the South Central region and Central Highland of Vietnam.
Members of the Faculty are constantly developing both in quantity and quality. The Faculty currently has 23 lecturers, including 04 PhDs, 02 PhD students and 17 masters. 100% of lecturers graduated from key universities, research institutes in the country and developed countries such as France, Russia, South Korea and China.
Currently, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities offers undergraduate program in Law with two majors: Law and Economic Law. The aim of the program is to train a contingent of jurisprudents mastering basic knowledge of legal sciences, with appropriate professional skills and ethics so that they can execute, research and build laws independently and creatively to meet the needs of the country’s socio-economic development and integration. The Faculty’s scientific research activities have been strengthened in recent years. Results from research projects have been successfully implemented and effectively applied in practice. With the current highly qualified members, the Faculty keeps focusing on specific areas of research such as law, political theory, social sciences and humanities, simultaneously, innovating improving the quality of teaching and learning. In addition, the Faculty also always pays attention to promoting cooperation universities/institutes, organizations and enterprises nationwide and worldwide to conduct cooperative activities on training and research.
