Discussion on cooperation models with Australian partners
On September 21, 2023, Nha Trang University coordinated with the Australian Government Trade and Investment Agency (Austrade) to organize a discussion with the topic: "Meeting the Needs of human resource development in coastal provinces Central Region: Introducing an effective cooperation model with Australia".
The seminar was held within the framework of the Vietnam - Australia culinary and education promotion program organized by the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City in 03 cities of Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City, and Nha Trang on the occasion of occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia.
Attending the discussion were Ms. Rebecca Ball - Australian Deputy Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Austrade commissioner; Ms. Ngo Thu Huong - Senior Trade Development Director of Austrade and representatives of organizations, businesses and universities in Australia. The discussion was attended by representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Khanh Hoa province, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province; representatives of Nha Trang University, a number of universities, colleges, businesses in Khanh Hoa province and representatives of international students who have studied and researched in Australia.

At the seminar, delegates listened to reports sharing about human resource development in the Central Coast region, training cooperation models between businesses and schools; Learn about training cooperation opportunities with Australia. This is a good opportunity to strengthen connections and promote prospective cooperation between the parties. Delegates also discussed solutions to meet the needs of human resource development in the region based on an effective cooperation model with Australian partners.
The seminar created a forum to connect and share experiences on training cooperation between nearly 20 Australian universities and universities and colleges in Khanh Hoa province. This is also an opportunity to share about the effective cooperation model between schools and businesses with the aim of replicating this model, meeting the needs of developing high-quality human resources in the South Central coastal provinces.
