Welcoming and working with the Australian Ambassador
On a business trip to Khanh Hoa province, on April 1, 2024, the Australian Ambassador visited and worked at Nha Trang University.
Attending the meeting, from the Australian Embassy, were Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski - Australian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam; Mrs. Eleanor Kennon - First Secretary (Politics); Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Political Officer. Welcoming and working with the delegation, on the side of Nha Trang University, were Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung - Rector of the University; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quoc Hung - Vice-Rector of the University, and representatives of related units.
Welcoming Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski and the delegation, Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung - Rector of the University expressed his honor to welcome the delegation to visit and work at Nha Trang University; At the same time, thank you for the cooperation and support from Australia for the University in recent times. Representatives of the University also shared information about several cooperation projects and programs that have been implemented with Australian partners over the years, especially sharing information about the implementation status of the Course project training on combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing funded by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF).
Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski highly appreciated the achievements in training and scientific research that Nha Trang University has achieved, especially the results from cooperative activities with partners from Australia. The Australian Ambassador also affirmed that he will continue to research, review, and introduce information and connect and cooperate between the University and units and organizations in Australia, especially in fisheries exploitation - one of the origin majors and strengths of Nha Trang University.
