From 05 to 08 November 2025, a delegation from Nha Trang University participated in the Third Transnational Meeting of the DEVICES Project (Developing Education in Vietnam and Cambodia Enhancing Employability for Students), hosted by the University of Alicante in Spain.

The delegation from Nha Trang University was headed by Dr. Quach Hoai Nam, Rector of the University, accompanied by representatives from relevant functional units. The meeting convened delegates from partner universities and organisations within the DEVICES project, including representatives from the University of Alicante (Spain), the University of Macerata (Italy), Hanoi University, Ha Long University (Vietnam), and two Cambodian University: the National University of Chea Sim Kamchaymear and the National University of Battambang.

The meeting was organized in order to review project progress, align on implementation strategies for the forthcoming phase, and foster enhanced scholarly exchange among partners. Specifically, discussions encompassed an evaluation of project advancement, the establishment and assessment of the digital learning platform (e-portfolio), deliberations on activities across various work packages (WP), the allocation of responsibilities for WP4, exchanges regarding financial and administrative management matters, and strategic planning for communication and dissemination of outcomes.

Delegates from the partner institutions attentively followed the progress reports and engaged in comprehensive discussions on the rollout of the various work packages.
In addition to the specialised working sessions, the NTU delegation and project partners took part in a cultural programme organised by the University of Alicante, which included visits to the city’s landmark historical sites, explorations of its distinctive cultural spaces, and an overview of the formation and evolution of this tradition-rich coastal city.

DEVICES is an Erasmus+ programme project co-funded by the European Union, aimed at elevating the quality of higher education and enhancing graduate employability for students in Vietnam and Cambodia. The initiative brings together nine partners: the University of Macerata and STEPS (Italy), the University of Alicante (Spain), WSG University in Bydgoszcz (Poland); three Vietnamese institutions: Hanoi University, Ha Long University, and Nha Trang University, together with two Cambodian Universities: the National University of Chea Sim Kamchaymear and the National University of Battambang.
