Conference on the training of Special Training Programs
On November 14, 2023, Nha Trang University organized a Conference on Training of Special Training Programs. At the same time, a signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation agreement was held with the Institute for International Economic and Educational Research on international dual degree training.
Attending the conference, there was Dr. Quach Hoai Nam - Vice Principal of the University; members of the Management Board of special training programs, and representatives of relevant units. On the side of the Institute for International Economic and Educational Research, there was the participation of MSc. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan - Director and representatives of related units.
Special training programs have been officially introduced at Nha Trang University since 2019. Up to now, the University is currently training 07 special programs including 05 bilingual training programs in the fields of Business administration, financial accounting, information technology, hotel management, tourism, and travel service management; along with 02 training programs ordered by Minh Phu enterprise - NTU in the field of Seafood Processing Technology and Aquaculture industry. By August 2023, the first batch of students recruited and trained under the special bilingual training program has graduated. The Conference on Training of Special Training Programs was organized to evaluate and summarize the organization and operation after a training cycle of these programs.
At the conference, representatives of the management board of special training programs reported an overview of the organization, management and operation of the program in each specific industry; Students' suggestions and recommendations about the training program; Pointing out difficulties, challenges, and solutions to improve training quality... Through the conference, representatives of the School's leadership, relevant units, and the Management Board of special training programs reviewed the Conditions to ensure training quality; Evaluate and analyze achieved and unachieved points, and discuss solutions for improvement in the future.
On this occasion, MSc. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan - Director of the Institute for International Economic and Educational Research also discussed and shared with the entire conference information about solutions to attract students to study special training programs; and coordinate training to grant dual Vietnamese and international degrees... Representatives of the University and representatives of the Institute for International Economic and Educational Research signed a memorandum of cooperation agreement. Accordingly, the Institute for International Economic and Educational Research will participate in advising and drafting training programs to grant dual degrees for two majors, including Business Administration and Hotel Management that meet UK standards and conduct international appraisal procedures for these training programs. The two sides will coordinate to develop a roadmap to gradually internationalize the training program and standardize the school's bilingual training program. At the same time, the Institute for International Economic and Educational Research will also link up with partners in the UK to coordinate with the University to provide short-term training courses in tourism, travel, restaurants, hotels...
