Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony between Nha Trang University and Australia CPA
November 12th, 2015: the cooperation agreement signing ceremony between Nha Trang University and Australia CPA (Certified Practising Accountants) took place in the Diamond Hall of Sofitel Saigon Plaza, Ho Chi Minh City. For Australia CPA, there were Mr. John McAnulty, Australian Consul General to Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Adam Awty, Chief Operating Officer of CPA Australia; Mrs. Huynh Ngoc Thien, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office of CPA Australia. For Nha Trang University, Dr. Quach Hoai Nam, Vice-Rector, and Dr. Vo Van Can, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Accounting and Finance attended the ceremony. Besides, there was the participation of many delegates from the leading auditing firms in Ho Chi Minh city and 78 Australian CPA qualified students.

The overall objectives of this agreement are to define the responsibilities and roles of the two parties in the cooperation and enhance mutual benefits and supports through introduction of Australian CPA and its reputation, the procedures of becoming a CPA as well as dissemination of information and knowledge of finance, accounting and career development opportunities to the students.
The agreement also sets forth the process and approved cooperation activities in order to achieve the above-mentioned specific objectives. The two parties agree on enhancing cooperative relationship, increasing the concerns of both parties’ members and contributing to the more sustainable development of the financial and accounting sector.
