27 March, 2016: the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between Nha Trang University and Viet Uc Group was organized at NTU. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung – Rector of NTU, Mr. Luong Thanh Van – Chairman of the Management Board as well as CEO of Viet Uc Group and other delegates attended the ceremony.

The MoU focuses on 3 main points: (1) Training: NTU will organize training courses for improving the human resource quality of Viet Uc Group; the Group will receive NTU’s students for internship, grant scholarship and recruit them after their graduation…; (2) Experimental research: the two parties will collaborate in implementing experimental research projects on fisheries, support scientific reports and participate in conferences organized by each party; NTU will support to do survey, research and consult on production for the Group; (3) Technology transfer training: NTU will organize training courses, build models and transfer technology to the Group; the two parties will collaborate to organize domestic and abroad study tours for staffs.

This cooperation is the beginning of a strategic partner relationship between the two parties. It will help to improve the efficiency of each party and strengthen the development of the fisheries industry in both the Central region of Vietnam and the country as a whole.

Besides, in the afternoon, a vocational seminar for students of Institute of Aquaculture was held by the Viet Uc Group.
