Two training programs: Seafood Processing Technology and Ship Engineering are granted quality accreditation certificates
June 4, 2020: NTU received the certificate of quality accreditation from Center for Education Accreditation – Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City for two training programs: Seafood Processing Technology and Ship Engineering. These are the two traditional programs of the University from the early time of establishment.
A premilinary evaluation of these two training programs were conducted by the experts on September 5, 2019 and the official evaluation was on September 16-19, 2019. Evaluation activities included: checking documentation, interviewing related groups, surveying infrastructure, observing teaching-learning activities, etc. The two training programs satisfied 92% of criteria, assessed by the accreditation council. Previously, these two training programs were self-assesed by the University based on a system of 11 standards and 60 specific criteria as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The implementation of quality accreditation for training programs has been recognized and invested in by NTU, demonstrating the University's responsibility to society, ensuring rights for learners. Participating in quality accreditation also contributes to ensure training quality standards, creating motivation for continuous, systematic improvement of quality. For learners, the quality accreditation for training programs will be a useful base in choosing the appropriate field of study, choosing the right school, and ensuring the quality of learning.
