17 March, 2016: Rector Trang Si Trung had a meeting with leaders of National Penghu University of Science and Technology (Taiwan).

After the introduction of strengths and potentials of each side, the two sides discussed and agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in training, scientific research, exchange of faculties and students in the training programs such as biotechnology, food technology, aquaculture, fishing technology, tourism,…

National Penghu University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) founded in 1991, originally called the Penghu Branch of Kaohsiung Marine Academy. Now it is a comprehensive university of technology which covers fishery, industry, and business. The three major areas are aquaculture, leisure and tourism, and green energy.
