Experimental Project B2010-13-01DA

 
      
After two years of research (2010 - 2012), the scientists of the Institute  for  Ship  Manufacturing and  Research  led  by  MSc.  Dinh  Duc Tien have completed the experimental production project “Improving Technological  Manufacturing  Process of  a  Catamaran  with  Composite Hull for Marine Tourism” with outstanding   results: completed technical design documents and manufacture process (which meets all technical and safety requirements of the Vietnam Register). The research group is now starting  the  process  of transferring  construction  technology  to the production units.


 

The  success  of  the  project renders   great   socio-economic benefits:  contributing  to  the  di- versification of waterway  products and services, increasing tourists’ attraction by the unique beauty of the ship, and saving production costs by replacing the imported products of the same type.
