Nha Trang University co-organized the seminar "Future Labor Skills for Electronics and Food Processing"

Within the framework of Vietskill project implemented by Copenhagen Business School, Denmark in collaboration with Vietnamese partners, the seminar "Future Labor Skills for Electronics and Food Processing" was held on 19 July 2022 at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

The seminar "Future Labor Skills for Electronics and Food Processing" is co-organized by Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Nha Trang University, and Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). Attending the seminar, there were experts from universities, vocational colleges, and businesses and companies in the field of Electronics and Food Processing in the South of Vietnam. On the side of Nha Trang University, there was the attendance of Dr. Quach Hoai Nam - Vice Principal of the University, and representatives of related units.

The seminar provided an opportunity to meet between the Vietskill project team and representatives of universities, colleges, and businesses with training programs or business activities in the field of Food Processing and Electronics industry to share and discuss issues of vocational skills training for human resources of these two fields in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0. At the conference, scientists from Nha Trang University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, and Copenhagen Business School presented research results on developing professional skills for workers in the electronics and food processing industry in Vietnam. Through that, the delegates discussed issues of interest to training parties and employers, about policies to develop suitable human resources for electronics, food processing, and evaluation of human resources, model of cooperation between schools and businesses to train and develop vocational skills for learners and employees.

The workshop discussed opportunities and challenges in enhancing the industry's position in the global value chain through enhancing the value of human resources, thereby meeting the rigorous requirements of the labor market in the context of integration. This is also an opportunity for representatives of universities and colleges to have the opportunity to meet, learn and create potential cooperation relationships with enterprises in training and production in the field of Electronics and Food processing.
