Nha Trang University worked with a representative of the Scottish Qualifications Authority.

On July 19, 2022, Nha Trang University had a meeting with a representative of the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), to discuss and learn about quality assurance activities, certification.

Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Michael Charles Koetsier - International Area Manager of SQA. On the side of Nha Trang University, there were representatives of the Department of Quality Assurance and Testing, the Department of International Cooperation, the Center for Training and Retraining, the Center for Foreign Languages.

At the meeting, Mr. Michael Charles Koetsier briefly introduced information about the Scottish Qualifications Assessment Authority - SQA. This is a nonprofit organization, affiliated with schools, colleges and universities that provide high-quality academic programs and services, and SQA degrees are recognized worldwide. The fields that SQA focuses on training in Vietnam include: business, computing, healthcare, and tourism. Accredited SQA programs will be recognized throughout the UK, Europe (according to the EQF - European Qualification Framework) and internationally through credit transfer standards and mutual recognition between education system.

Representatives of the University and representatives of SQA also exchanged and discussed related issues such as benefits from SQA's training program for students, form of providing documents, tuition fees and necessary procedures... The two sides will continue to study and discuss to agree on cooperation contents in the coming time.
