This is the first time that the Ministry of Education and Training has organized a meeting and dialogue between the Minister and teachers, administrators and staff of the Education sector. The event is held in person and online. The main bridge point is located at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Training, connecting with more than 400 bridge points of universities and colleges. Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Kim Son - Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An - Chairman of Vietnam Education Union and leader of the Ministry of Education and Training; leaders of Vietnam Education Union; leaders of departments under the Ministry of Education and Training; representatives of higher education institutions, pedagogical colleges. On the side of Nha Trang University, there were representatives of the University Council, the Board of Directors, the University's Trade Union and more than 100 officials and employees representing all lecturers, administrators, and staff of the University.

        The meeting is an opportunity for lecturers, administrators, and employees of universities and colleges to talk about their thoughts, aspirations, advantages, and difficulties in the process of working. This is also an opportunity for the Minister to listen to opinions in service of management, administration, and policy improvement; and at the same time encourage and share with lecturers, administrators, and staff of universities and colleges.

        At the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of the Trade Union of Nha Trang University gave his opinion on the reality of life and income of officials and employees in higher education institutions. The President of the School Union also made proposals on salary policy, a separate salary sheet for teachers, and a loan policy with special incentives for officials and employees in the industry. The Minister of Education and Training acknowledged the opinion of the representative of the University, saying that increasing teachers' income is a common desire of society, but it is necessary to study and consider many parties to come up with the most appropriate solutions in the near future.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nha Trang University expressed his opinion at the dialogue.

        Representatives of teachers' colleges and other higher education institutions across the country also participated in the meeting. The comments focused on groups of issues such as University autonomy and the role of teaching staff in implementing university autonomy; improving the quality of training, scientific research, and technology transfer; digital transformation in education and adaptation of universities to digital transformation; infrastructure, network planning…

       The above comments and information collected from the event are an important basis for the Ministry of Education and Training to continue to improve regimes and policies and to synchronously deploy management and leadership solutions in line with reality.
