The University Council is the governing organization, exercising the right to represent the owner and related parties at Nha Trang University. The University Council of Nha Trang University for the term 2020-2025 was established under Decision No. 4790/QD-BGDĐT dated December 30, 2020, of the Minister of Education and Training on the recognition of the University Council for the term 2020-2025 and Decision No. 4791/QD-BGDĐT dated December 30, 2020, of the Minister of Education and Training on the recognition of the Chairman of the Council of Nha Trang University for the term 2020-2025.
The structure of the University council is composed of: the President, the Secretary, the Standing Council and the Professional Boards. The Professional Boards include: Science and Training Department, Organization Department, Human Resources and Legal Department, and Finance and Facilities Department.
