he projects of this year's contest were evaluated to be creative, likely to create a great spread in the community in order to raise awareness about protecting the environment. The teams have carried out their projects with diverse activities such as: Selling bamboo baskets to raise funds 'limiting is better than recycling'; Zero Vietnam Dong to recycle plastic waste for exhibition; Collecting rubish in coastal areas; Arranging mini trash cans next to the beach… In addition, some teams implemented projects towards changing people's awareness of environmental protection issues, creating a great spread in the community.
The judges stated that the teams of this year implemented very quality projects, demonstrating their dynamism, creativity, good team work skills as well as intelligence in the application of support tools in the 4.0 era. In the end, the organizers awarded the first prize of the contest to the Ecolution team - Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Khanh Hoa), with a prize of 5,000,000 VND. The second prize belonged to Sea Worrior team - Nguyen Van Troi High School (Khanh Hoa), with a prize of 3,000,000 VND. The third prize was awarded to Truong Chinh 2 High School team (Ninh Thuan) and Vo Thi Sau High School team (Phu Yen), with a prize of 2,000,000 VND per team. Special prizes were awarded to the rest teams with a prize of 1,000,000 VND per team. In addition, the organizers also awarded sub-competitions such as drawing infographics about environmental protection, voting for t-shirt drawing, etc.
The Green Environment Contest 2021 was organized by Nha Trang University in collaboration with the Departments of Education and Training of three provinces of Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces. This was the third time in succession that the Green Environment Contest was held with the participation of about 1,000 students and teachers from 160 teams of high schools in these three provinces. This year's contest has the theme "Protecting the marine environment", taking place with three rounds including Knowledge - Propaganda - Action.
