t the webinar, there were the attendance of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Hong Long - Dean of Faculty of Tourism, VNU-USSH, Hanoi, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong – Former Rector of Nha Trang College of Tourism, and more than 90 experts, researchers, representatives of businesses operating in related fields. On the side of Nha Trang University, Dr. Quach Hoai Nam - Vice Rector and representatives of related units participated in the webinar.

From the beginning of 2020 to now, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on all aspects of social life, especially in the tourism sector, posing urgent issues on the sustainability of the tourism development. The national webinar "New directions for Vietnam's tourism after Covid-19 pandemic" was organized to provide a sharing and discussion space for scientists and businesses on current issues of the tourism industry in the complicated context of the pandemic.
The webinar had one plenary session and four sub-sessions with following topics: Post-pandemic solutions for Vietnam's tourism; Some post-pandemic solutions for local tourism; Sustainable tourism; Tourism human resources, and some related topics. On the basis of 18 reports presented at the webinar, scientists, businesses and management agencies discussed solutions to recover Vietnam's tourism industry after Covid-19; at the same time, participants exchanged and shared experiences to continue further research directions on sustainable tourism after the pandemic.
