Delegation of Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training signed a cooperation agreement with Nha Trang University
On January 22, 2025, at Nha Trang University, a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) of Vanuatu visited and signed a cooperation agreement with Nha Trang University, aiming to establish a long-term cooperative relationship in the field of education and training between the two sides.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the delegation of the Republic of Vanuatu, were Mr. Bergmans IATI - Director General, Ministry of Education and Training of Vanuatu; Mr. Tran Nam Trung - Consul General of Vanuatu in Ho Chi Minh City, and members of the delegation. On behalf of Nha Trang University, Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Hung, Vice-Rector of the University, and leaders of related units were present.

At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Hung emphasized that Nha Trang University always focuses on expanding international cooperation, creating development opportunities for students and lecturers, and promoting high-quality research and training activities. The Vice Rector believes that this cooperation will bring long-term and practical benefits to both sides, contributing to further tightening the relationship between Vietnam and Vanuatu.

Representing the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training, Mr. Bergmans IATI expressed great expectations for the cooperative relationship with Nha Trang University: “Signing a cooperation agreement with a prestigious university like Nha Trang University is an important milestone in the strategy to improve the quality of education in Vanuatu. We hope that, through training cooperation and academic exchange programs, Vanuatu students will be able to develop more comprehensively.”
The content of the agreement signed between the two parties focuses on areas of cooperation such as student and scholar exchange, scientific research cooperation, implementation of lecturer training courses, and establishing a pathway for Vanuatu graduates.
The signing ceremony marks a new step in strengthening educational cooperation between Nha Trang University and the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training, contributing to building a knowledge bridge and promoting sustainable development in the education sector of both countries.
