Attending the meeting, on the HCMC University of Technology side, were Assoc.Prof. Ph.D. Le Dinh Tuan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering, and representatives of related units; Dr. Nguyen Tran Chan, the director of ICOME Technology Institute, represented the institute. On the side of Nha Trang University, there was Dr. Huynh Van Vu, Dean of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering, Dr. Dinh Duc Tien, Director of Ship Research and Development Institute (UNINSHIP), and representatives of related units.

       At the meeting, representatives of the units shared information about the operating situation and strengths in training and scientific research of each side; and discussed the directions for developing cooperation in training and scientific research. Accordingly, the Faculty of Transportation Engineering of Nha Trang University and the Transportation Engineering Faculty of HCMC University of Technology will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) shortly to coordinate the exchange of lecturers, students, and cooperation in scientific research activities. The Faculty of Transportation Engineering of HCMC University of Technology will also support and connect with experts from Korea to come and instruct in developing new technology in the manufacture of composite hull molds using fabric materials at Nha Trang University. In addition, the research group of Nha Trang University will also participate in the topics and projects currently being implemented by the ICOME Technology Institute in appropriate fields.
