On October 17th, 2025, Nha Trang University hosted the opening of the 5th National Scientific Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Vietnam (CLSCM 2025), which brought together more than 200 delegates, including scholars, experts, policymakers, and business leaders from across the nation’s logistics sector. The conference was organized under the auspices of the Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA), in collaboration with Vietnamese leading universities and corporate partners.

Under the theme “A New Era of Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Technology-Automation-Green Growth,” the conference centered on global trends in the context of digital transformation and sustainable development, aiming to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam’s logistics industry.
In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Khong Trung Thang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council of Nha Trang University, underscored that the conference serves not only as a prestigious academic forum but also as a vital bridge linking researchers, businesses, and policymakers in fostering practical initiatives that contribute to the national logistics development strategy.

This year’s conference brought together representatives from 15 universities, research institutes, and enterprises, alongside 07 sponsoring organizations. The program featured 08 thematic panels with 54 academic papers presented, highlighting key topics such as green logistics, smart supply chain management, and the integration of artificial intelligence and automation in logistics operations.
As the host institution, Nha Trang University reaffirmed its pioneering position in logistics and marine economics education and research, strengthening the synergy among University–Business–Society, while contributing to the sustainable development of both the South Central Coast region and the nation as a whole.

The delegates engaged in vibrant discussions on emerging trends in green logistics, automation, and digital transformation across supply chains-key pillars driving the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s logistics sector.
The CLSCM 2025 Conference is expected to open up new avenues for research collaboration, education, and technology transfer, contributing to the development of a green, smart, and innovation-driven logistics ecosystem in Vietnam.
