The Japanese expert shares on organic agricultural development

On August 1, 2020, there was a talk about a project on the organic agricultural development in the Mekong Delta by Ms. Ino Mayu - Chief Representative of Seed to Table in Vietnam (Japan) at Nha Trang University.

 

Nearly 100 people who are officers, lecturers, alumni, members of Khanh Hoa Farmers Association, members of Khanh Hoa Startup Club… participated in the talk. Ms. Ino Mayu shared and introduced about organic agriculture, the GPS monitoring system, models of organic agriculture that many parts of the world, especially Japanese farmers are applying. In addition, she shared her experiences in working with farmers and knowledge of sustainable agriculture in Ben Tre province. Her sharing also partly helped participants have a closer visualization to the implementation of organic agriculture, suggest ideas and methods to develop effective organic agriculture. On this occasion, Ms. Ino Mayu also answered questions from farmers, entrepreneurs, managers ... about organic agriculture, helping them access to reality in this area.

 

Seed to Table is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, with the aim of helping Vietnamese farmers grow organic vegetables and raise livestock to improve their livelihoods. Ms. Ino Mayu - Chief Representative of Seed to Table Organization in Vietnam has more than 20 years working in Vietnam, supporting her knowledge of sustainable agricultural development for Ben Tre and Dong Thap provinces.
