Welcoming and working with the South African Ambassador
On March 7, 2024, the South African Ambassador visited and worked at Nha Trang University on a business trip to Khanh Hoa province.
Attending the meeting, was Ms. Vuyiswa Tulelo - Ambassador of South Africa, and the delegation of the South African Embassy in Vietnam including Mr. Mphohoni - First Secretary, and Mr. To Quang Hung - Trade and Tourism Officer. Welcoming the delegation, on the side of Nha Trang University were Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung - Principal of the School; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quoc Hung - Vice Principal of the University and representatives of relevant units.
At the meeting, representatives of Nha Trang University introduced information about the University's operational situation, development orientation, and international cooperation; and information on some implemented cooperation with African partners. The University's leadership representative expressed his wish to continue to develop more cooperation in training and scientific research in all fields, especially the field of fisheries through the support and connections of the South African consulate in Vietnam with suitable partners in South Africa.

Ms. Vuyiswa Tulelo - Ambassador of South Africa highly appreciated the achievements that Nha Trang University has achieved through international cooperation activities; Agree with the University's proposals in developing cooperation with South African partners in the coming time. The South African Ambassador said he would participate in cooperation between Nha Trang University and educational institutions in South Africa to carry out student and lecturer exchange programs; sending officials working in ministries and branches in South Africa to study and research in-depth about the field of fisheries at Nha Trang University. At the same time, Ms. Vuyiswa Tulelo supported the School and its South African partners to jointly design cultural exchange courses for the School's and South African students soon.
