Meeting international students and foreigners studying and working at the university on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024
On January 22, 2024, Nha Trang University organized an exchange session with international students and foreigners who are studying, researching, and working at the school before the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Attending the exchange were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quoc Hung - Vice-Rector of the University, representatives of relevant units, and international students and foreigners who are studying, researching, and working at the university.
At the exchange, international students and foreigners were introduced to some key features of how to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Vietnam; Unique features in Vietnamese cuisine, home decoration, and Tet activities. Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quoc Hung sent New Year's greetings to international students and foreigners and thanked the students and foreigners for trusting and choosing Nha Trang University as the place to study, research, and work. The Vice-Rector of the University hopes that Nha Trang University will continue to develop international cooperation activities so that more and more students, trainees, and foreigners will come to study, research, and work at the university, thereby contributing to further spreading Vietnamese culture to international friends. University representatives also presented Tet gifts to international students and foreigners.
Also at the meeting, international students and foreigners participated in quiz games about Vietnamese Tet customs such as the tradition of wrapping banh chung, New Year's Eve rituals, and things to do and abstain from on the first day of the new year.... In particular, international students and foreigners also participate in decorating five-fruit trays with bright colors, symbolizing wishes for a good new year.
