Nha Trang University organized a cultural exchange event for international students and foreigners on the traditional Tet holiday
On January 9th, 2025, Nha Trang University held a special exchange event on the occasion of the Lunar New Year for international students and foreigners studying and working at the university. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Hung - Vice-Rector of the university, along with leaders from related departments, centers, and faculties.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Hung expressed care and extended Lunar New Year wishes to the international students and foreigners studying and working at the university. The university always values creating a friendly and inclusive learning environment, especially during significant national occasions like the Lunar New Year. This event provides an opportunity for international students to gain deeper insights into Vietnam’s traditional Tet culture while strengthening solidarity and cultural exchange among students from various countries.

A representative of the Lao students, one of the countries with a significant number of students studying at the university, expressed gratitude for the university's meticulous organization and shared feelings about participating in activities rich in Tet cultural traditions.
During the exchange event, representatives of the university’s leadership also presented Lunar New Year gifts to international students and foreigners, showing the university’s special attention. This was followed by engaging cultural activities such as: an introduction to Vietnam’s traditional Tet, the "Ring the Golden Bell" game, decorating red envelopes and writing New Year’s wishes, and decorating the Tet cultural space. These activities helped international students gain a better understanding of the Lunar New Year, a longstanding cultural tradition of the Vietnamese people.
