Attending the ceremony, from Khanh Hoa province, there were Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Van Mung - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee. On the Champasak province side, there was Mr. Sanan Siphaphomachanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Political Theory, Party building work and provincial cadres. On the side of Nha Trang University, there was the participation of Dr. Quach Hoai Nam - Vice Rector of the School and representatives of related units.

       At the ceremony, the representative of Champasak province approved the Presidential Decree, the power of attorney of the Prime Minister of Laos and the Decision of the Governor of Champasak province on awarding the Labor Medal, class II, the Itxala Medal, class III, and Friendship Medal of the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and certificates of merit from the Governor of Champasak Province for groups and individuals of Khanh Hoa province. Mr. Sanan Siphaphomachanh awarded certificates of merit from the Governor of Champasak Province to representatives of Nha Trang University and other groups of Khanh Hoa Province including: the Provincial Party Committee Office; Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Justice; Financial Department; Provincial Military Command; Provincial Labor Confederation; Union of Provincial Friendship Organizations; Foreign Service; Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest State One Member Company Limited.

        Based on the cooperation between Khanh Hoa province, Attapu province and Champasack province (Lao PDR), each year Nha Trang University receives training of about 20 Lao students, in many training majors such as Business Administration, Tourism, Electricity - Electronics, Automotive Technology... To date, the School has trained more than 60 undergraduate students and 3 graduate students from localities in Laos.
