Opening of the International Sea and Ocean Summer Camp – ISOC 2024 at Nha Trang University
On July 22, 2024, at Nha Trang University, the International Sea and Ocean Summer Camp - ISOC 2024 opening ceremony occurred.
Representatives of the units participating in the summer camp included students and lecturers from Adamas University, India, along with interns from China and Thailand. On the side of Nha Trang University were representatives of the International Cooperation Department along with many lecturers and students from the Faculty of Tourism, Foreign Languages, Institute of Biotechnology and Environment.
The purpose of the ISOC 2024 Summer Camp is to promote discussion and interaction between students of Nha Trang University and students of universities in the region and around the world. In addition, the summer camp also aims to promote the image of Nha Trang University in the eyes of foreign partners, presenting it as an ideal destination for academic and cultural exchange activities. At the same time, the summer camp also creates a unique brand for the University in terms of international exchange and cooperation activities, focusing on the University's strengths and traditions such as fisheries science and marine economics.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, a representative of Nha Trang University expressed his hope that the International Sea and Ocean Summer Camp - ISOC 2024 will be an important bridge, helping students/trainees from different countries have the opportunity to learn, exchange experiences, and knowledge on issues related to seas and oceans.
The International Summer Camp on Sea and Oceans - ISOC 2024 will take place from July 22 to July 27, 2024, promising to bring many rich and useful activities for all participants.
