The meeting was attended by representatives of leaders and departments of the Department of Education and Sports of Attapeu and Champasak provinces and 13 international students from these two localities. On the side of Nha Trang University, there was the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Hung - Vice-Rector of the University and representatives of related units.

Lao international students come to study at Nha Trang University under the scholarship of cooperation between Khanh Hoa province and Attapeu province, Champasak in the period 2022 - 2026. Of these, there are 06 students from Attapeu province and 07 students from Champasak province. International students study majors including Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Business, and Commerce. The training program will be implemented from 2023 - 2026. Nha Trang University will organize Vietnamese language tutoring for Lao students.

Also at the meeting, representatives of Nha Trang University and representatives of the Department of Education and Sports of Attapeu province and Champasak province exchanged contents related to student admission support, arrange accommodation, and help students with problems of living, studying, and practicing. Nha Trang University's activities of receiving and supporting training for Lao international students are of great significance, contributing to strengthening the building of international cooperation relations in the field of training between Khanh Hoa province and Attapeu province, Champasak province in particular, between Vietnam and Lao PDR in general.
