Nha Trang University cooperates to organize the seminar "Developing professional skills for electronics workers in Vietnam"
On November 1, 2022, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh city, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province coordinated with Nha Trang University to organize a Seminar "Developing professional skills for electronics workers in Vietnam".
Participating in the Seminar were scientists from the Vietskill project, central and local agencies in Bac Ninh province and Hanoi city; universities, colleges, vocational training centers in Bac Ninh province and Hanoi city, and electronic enterprises in industrial zones of Bac Ninh province. On the side of Nha Trang University, there were the attendance of Dr. Quach Hoai Nam - Vice President of the University and representatives of related units.
At the seminar, researchers presented research results on occupational skills of workers in the electronics industry in Vietnam and the world; assessment of the current status of vocational skills, vocational skills training at enterprises and training cooperation between enterprises and training institutions. Representatives of businesses in the electronics industry and universities and colleges also presented the current status of the technical level of employees, especially the team of engineers and managers at the enterprise and model of cooperation with schools/institutes in vocational training and training. Delegates discussed issues related to cooperation models; make proposals and recommendations on policies and solutions to develop workers' skills to meet the development needs of Vietnam's electronics industry in the future.
The seminar is a component of the project "VIETSKILL - Renovating the vocational training system in Vietnam for development goals", aiming to solve problems in the next stage of Vietnam's industrialization process. This is a research project between Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and partners in Vietnam (including: Nha Trang University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ministry of Planning and Investment, General Department of Vocational Education and Training. Vietnamese industry). The project is supported by the Danish Government through the organization DANIDA (Danish Development Cooperation Agency).
