This year's convention, themed "Digital ELT: Approaches and Innovations", is expected to take place with the participation of nearly 500 national and international delegates. The convention will present research reports and discuss topics including technology in language teaching and learning; teaching methods and applied linguistics; professional training.

The VietTESOL International Convention in 2022 is organized to build a forum for exchange of research results, ideas, methods, and resources related to the research, teaching, and learning of English languages. This is a place for scientists to discuss and propose ideas on the innovation of training programs, teaching methods, application of English teaching technology, and improving English language ability for learners. The convention also aims to connect teachers, researchers, and people working in the field of education at home and abroad in the field of English research and teaching in order to build an English teaching community (TESOL) nationally and internationally.
