Cooperating with Korea DUDU IT Company on cybersecurity training

On April 25, 2022, Nha Trang University had a meeting and signed a cooperation agreement with DUDU IT company (Korea) in the field of cybersecurity training.

At the ceremony,  the delegation of DUDU IT Company included Dr. Park Young Sun - CEO of the Company, Mr. Kim Duck Yun - Director of DUDU IT Vietnam, Prof. Kim Hwa Soo - Expert of DUDU IT Company Korea as well as a professor of Anjou University in Korea. On the side of Nha Trang University, there was the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung - Rector, representatives of related units, lecturers, and students of the Faculty of Information Technology.

At the meeting, the two parties had the introduction of their organization and discussed cooperation opportunities.. Leaders of Nha Trang University and DUDU IT Company signed a contract to implement the KOICA IBS project of Building an online/face-to-face network security training platform. The project includes building a laboratory for cybersecurity training and organizing training courses in cybersecurity.

The main goal of this cooperation is to provide intensive training on cybersecurity for 600 students in Khanh Hoa area. The program is expected to be implemented in 3 years (from 2022 to 2025). DUDU IT Company will construct, install and donate a Laboratory with a value of about 850,000 USD to the University and support to train students in cybersecurity with a training budget of 150,000 USD. It is expected to help improve the capicity of the University's teaching staff in the field of network safety and security, especially in the context that the University is promoting digital transformation activities; improve the training capacity of Nha Trang University for undergraduate students and graduate students, especially help raise the training quality of the University to be equivalent to other countries in the region; conduct scientific research, contributing to the protection of cybersecurity.

DUDU IT Co., Ltd., established in 2014, is a Korean company specializing in cybersecurity training. The company has a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Nha Trang University is the second university in Vietnam to cooperate with DUDU IT on cybersecurity training. Previously, DUDU IT cooperated with Hanoi University of Science and Technology to set up a CyberSecurity Training Center to train students in cybersecurity in Hanoi.
