Nha Trang University welcomed Prof.Dr. Lin Wei-Chih, the newly representative of the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan)
On August 20th, 2025, Nha Trang University hosted a reception to welcome Prof.Dr. Lin Wei-Chih, Counselor and Head of the Education Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

Representing Nha Trang University, Prof.Dr. Pham Quoc Hung, Vice Rector, presided over the meeting, accompanied by leaders from the Department of International Cooperation, the Department of Academic Affairs and the Department of Science and Technology. Prof.Dr. Lin Wei-Chih, during his working visit to Nha Trang University, conveyed a keen interest in discussing potential avenues of collaboration with the university’s Board of Rectors.

Additionally, Prof.Dr. Lin Wei-Chih proposed establishing a Chinese Language Proficiency Testing Center at the university to administer the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL), thereby enabling students to obtain the required certification for studying abroad in Taiwan. Concurrently, Prof.Dr. Lin Wei-Chih pledged to serve as a bridge in fostering collaboration between Nha Trang University and Taiwanese universities. Notably, Prof.Dr. Lin Wei-Chih affirmed his willingness to invite distinguished professors from Taiwan to deliver lectures and provide academic support in enhancing the quality of training, should the university inaugurate a program in semiconductor education.
The reception has opened up numerous potential avenues for collaboration, promising to strengthen the educational relationship between Nha Trang University and its Taiwanese partners in the future.
