This meeting is part of an agreement between Nha Trang University and the KOICA Vietnam Office regarding hosting Ms. Park Dae Ny, a KOICA volunteer who will work at the university from July 9, 2024, to May 15, 2025. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate factors that could affect the safety of KOICA volunteers and to review the measures and legal regulations the university has implemented to ensure their safety at both their residence and workplace.

Mr. Hwang San Deok, a representative from the KOICA Vietnam Office, spoke at the meeting about ensuring the safety of volunteers at Nha Trang University.

Representatives from Nha Trang University exchanged ideas with the KOICA Vietnam Office regarding measures to ensure the safety of the volunteers during their service.

       Mr. Hwang San Deok, Safety Manager, along with other team members, attended the meeting from the KOICA Vietnam Office. Representatives from Nha Trang University were the International Cooperation Department, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and other related units. During the meeting, Mr. Hwang San Deok emphasized the importance of ensuring the total safety of KOICA volunteers working at Nha Trang University. He expressed confidence in the measures the university has implemented. He also conveyed a desire to extend and maintain close cooperation between the two parties to create the best working conditions for the volunteers in Vietnam.

      The representatives from Nha Trang University affirmed that the university is always committed to ensuring a safe working and living environment for the volunteers, and they pledged to work closely with KOICA to ensure that regulations are strictly adhered to.

      The meeting took place in a positive and constructive atmosphere to ensure the best working conditions for KOICA volunteers laboring at Nha Trang University.
